These cards are perfect -- I can show them in groups of ten or so --  don't want to overwhelm the students!

5 of 5 Great for adult literacy students June 1, 2013
Reviewer: Literacy Teacher from Dumfries, VA United States
We have some adult learners in our program who lack the very basic word skills.  These cards are great, the learner can easily recognize the picture, see the word and practice writing the letters.  Over time they recognize the written word and associate it with the picture withou relying on a picture.

5 of 5 Been looking everywhere for these September 10, 2011
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Kennesaw, GA United States
I use these to teaching the reading strategy of looking at the picture and the word to see if it looks right. These are perfect for that since the only the word is on one side, then you flip it over to have them compare their guess of the word with the picture...lightbulb moment!
